Chris L. Davis is an attorney in Jefferson County and manages a law practice in Bessemer, Alabama, located just steps from the new Bessemer courthouse.  He is a full-time litigator and trial attorney.  Chris specializes in the areas of family law, personal injury law, and criminal law He believes the most important service a lawyer can give his client is an efficient and effective representation built on a foundation of sincerity, trust, and respect.  These values serve as his guide to the practice of law.

      Chris graduated from Oak Grove High School located in western Jefferson County.  He received his B.A. degree from the University of Alabama.  After graduating, Chris moved to Hueytown, Alabama and joined the team at Thompson Tractor Co., in Birmingham, Alabama where he worked for three years before deciding to go back to school and pursue a law degree.

      Chris began his journey into the legal profession at the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota before transferring back down south to Tuscaloosa for his remaining two years of legal study.  During law school at UA and prior to taking the Alabama Bar exam, Chris worked as a summer research assistant to Professor Gene Marsh, served as an administrative assistant to the UA Law Career Services, and specialized in employment law.  While at UA Law he was awarded the Best Paper in Employment Discrimination and received grades with distinction in Trial Advocacy I and Trial Advocacy II.

      When away from the office, Chris enjoys cooking Southern food and following college sports.
